Is it OK if my dog fears going to the vet?

A pragmatic answer to this question might be ‘yes’, especially if they need treatment that will improve their physical health. After all, it’s the right thing to do to get them the treatment they need, right? Our legal responsibility in fact. But should we be thinking beyond that?
